Ant Man and the Wasp is a lot of fun!
At the start of the film Scott and Cassie are on an adventure through a card board tunnel Indiana Jones style.
Scott is under house arrest for the events that took place in Germany. ( His part in Civil War) And he has had to get pretty creative to keep from getting bored. And entertaining Cassie like this is one way he escapes it.
His house arrest abruptly ends when Hope in Wasp form and sedates Scott while he is eating and watching TV.
She and Hank heard the message he left them about a dream he had about Janet. (Hope’s mom and Hank’s wife.)
Hope then brings him to the lab so she and Hank can help Scott retrieve the dream.
Their goal to get Janet out of the quantum realm where she has been trapped for 30 years.
This is part of the plot of the film and the other is Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) wants to steal the lab and building to cure her affliction. Then there is Sonny Burch (Walter Goggins) who illegally sells science tech. He wants the lab/building so he can make billions in the black market.
Now to some of the good and fun stuff!
There are several scenes that made me smile especially the slide Scott makes to go through the house with Cassie.
Also the scene were the Ant Man suite leans against the building before deflating before the FBI is cool too.
And the quantum realm look !!!
I also liked the giant ant that resides in Scott’s house for him so he can go out and be the hero he is.
Not to mention the cool reward Cassie gave her Dad.
Lastly I am glad the drama was not laid on thick instead the film is kept light and fun much of the time.
