Solution: Part 3 of Radio Waves
A 191 days later Othi Xouqphon and his sister Baitair Dang stare at an illuminated light bulb, an ancient device, adopted by their Kind as one of the symbols for solution. Within moments the light bulb disappears. In its place appears a black square with a round blue and silver-colored button. At its center is a white triangle on its side with its point looking to the right.
With a nod from his sister Othi Xuoqphon reaches out and touches the white arrow at its center. Soon Vaer Trodumpim’s video and audio recording begins to play. It is in muted colors and features a man of medium height with short wavy hair and a stocky built. He stands behind a podium with an eagle on the front. Behind the man are stadium seats filled with thousands of other Humans. The man’s mouth is moving and forming words which Othi Xouqphon and Baitair Dang can hear but not understand yet.
No man can fully grasp how far and how fast we have come, but condense, if you will, the 50,000 years of man¹s recorded history in a time span of but a half a century.
It is not long before the images they are seeing are replaced by various images the siblings can understand. Their excitement grows and grows with each new image as brother and sister piece together the man’s message in the recording.
Only last week did we develop penicillin and television and nuclear power, and now if America¹s new spacecraft succeeds in reaching Venus, we will have literally reached the stars before midnight tonight.
Eighteen minutes and twenty-eight seconds later Othi Xouqphon and his sister are eerily silent and yet both cannot help but feel warm and happy all over. A solution has been found but of course they know this is just the beginning. The beginning of future journeys to unearth the hidden secrets in the other sound wave recordings they have.
