In this animated movie Batman is on the war path in Gotham trying to locate a dirty bomb planted by the Joker before his return to Arkham Asylum.

Meanwhile Amanda Waller brings together captured criminals: Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Black Spider, and Killer Frost to form the Suicide Squad.

She wants them to break into Arkham Asylum, find Riddler’s cane and retrieve a flash drive full of sensitive government information including the new Suicide Squad.

To make sure they fall in line and do her bidding, Waller has explosive devises implanted in their necks. She demonstrates this killing method on one criminal to get the others to do her dirty work.

The animation style reminds me of Batman Samurai and the look of the Joker in this film is very cool! Also all the great Batman villains have his or her time in the spot light. Some longer than others but I did not mind. The most awesome of them all is Poison Ivy.

Kevin Conroy voices Batman but Mark Hamill did not voice the Joker instead Troy Baker did. I think he did an admirable job. I never would have guessed Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds, voiced Riddler. He did well too.

The action is packed and the ending which I won’t reveal gave me a big smile.
